Community Photo 2025

We are indebted to M Brigitte Pinot, titular Prioress of the Cistercian Monastery of Tautra in Norway, for taking this picture of the Glencairn Community. M Brigitte has come to spend a few days here before undertaking an official role in our Abbatial election tomorrow.

M. Marie Fahy has just completed her fourth term as Superior, and overseen a great number of changes at Glencairn in those 24 years, including the massive 10-year building project – the benefits of which will continue to be enjoyed by guests and visitors as well as the Sisters for many years to come. She has also very ably represented our Community at  national and international levels of the Order. We are hugely grateful for her faithful service, wise decisions, and spiritual guidance over the years and sincerely wish her every blessing as she enters a new, and hopefully more restful, phase of life.
