Annual Retreat: Silentium!

Annual Retreat

Please note that the Cistercian nuns will be having our Annual Retreat from August 30th until September 8th.

During the retreat, None and Compline will not be open for guests, visitors or locals to join us in prayer, as these Offices will not be celebrated in the church.

Everyone is otherwise very welcome to join us for Mass and the other liturgies.

During this time:

• The Shop and Guesthouse will be closed.
• The nuns will not be available for visits or conversations.
• Our phones will not be answered, though messages will be listened to and passed on.

We ask for your prayers during our retreat, and please be assured that we will be praying for you too.

This year, our retreat is being given by Dom Gerard of Genesee Abbey, Piffard, New York.
