Stained Glass Window Commission

On 27th August our lovely new stained glass window, designed and created by Bianca Divito, (www.biancadivito.com) was installed in our new guesthouse oratory here at Glencairn Abbey. Having completed our new guesthouse in January 2020, we could only dream of being able to complete the oratory with a stained glass window, so when we  received a donation for this purpose we were delighted to commission this upcoming Irish glass artist for the purpose. We are really happy that our guests will have the opportunity to spend time in this beautiful space in addition to joining the community for the liturgy in our Abbey church. On behalf of our future guests, we sincerely thank the patron and Bianca Divito who moved mountains to realise this dream in record time to avail of our builders help to install the piece while on site on another job. A great team!
