Silver Jubilee of monastic profession of Sister Eleanor Campion ocso
On 12th June, 2012 the community rejoiced with our Sister Eleanor in marking the 25th anniversary of her monastic profession as a Cistercian nun of St Mary’s Abbey, Glencairn.
Sister Eleanor, a native of Co. Waterford, entered Glencairn in 1984, where she completed her novitiate and made her First Profession of monastic vows on 31st May, 1987. She was Solemnly Professed in Glencairn on 9th October, 1990.
Sister Eleanor is currently serving at the Generalate of our Order in Rome.
We wish her every joy and blessing on this very special anniversary of her monastic commitment to God in the Cistercian life.
