A Change of Stability!

On October 3rd we celebrated the change of stability of Sr Kathleen Waters and Sr Anne Malcolm from the community of N.D. de l’Assomption, New Brunswick, Canada, to Glencairn. These two sisters now officially belong to our community because, unfortunately, Assomption had become very small and fragile and closed last year.

As there is no other community of nuns of our Order in Canada, these two sisters chose to belong to Glencairn. For the moment they continue to live in Canada, to be near another sister in a nursing home and to finish all the administration that goes with closing a monastery.

We welcome our two new members with joy and thank God for their dedication to their monastic vocation!
