Monastic Experience Weekend

Glencairn Abbey is delighted to announce our next Monastic Experience Weekend, welcoming women aged 19–40 who are discerning God’s call to religious life.

Over the course of the weekend, participants will have the opportunity to:

• Meet our community and share in the daily rhythm of monastic life.

• Experience the balance of prayer, work, and contemplation that shapes Cistercian spirituality.

• Spend time in quiet prayer in the Abbey Church.

• Speak with a sister for personal vocation guidance.

• Encounter God in the peace and beauty of the Abbey grounds and surrounding nature.

Directions to the Abbey are available on our website. For those travelling by public transport, please contact Sr Mairéad, who will be glad to arrange transport from the nearest bus stop.
