We welcome women aged 19–40 who are discerning God’s call to visit Glencairn Abbey and learn more about Cistercian life.

Meet our community and share in the rhythm of monastic life, with its balance of prayer, work, and contemplation.

Speak with a sister for vocation guidance. Take time for quiet prayer in the Abbey Church, and encounter God in the beauty of nature surrounding the Abbey.

Directions to the Abbey are available on our website. For those travelling by public transport, please contact Sr Mairéad, who will be happy to arrange to meet you at the nearest bus stop.
