RTE radio’s Countrywide at St Mary’s Abbey, Glencairn

Countrywide presenter Damien O’Reilly made a visit to Glencairn in November, 2011 to meet the community and find out from some of the sisters how they came to chose the Cistercian way of life at St Mary’s Abbey, Glencairn. Broadcast in December 2011, you can listen to a recording of that programme on our audio page here on our website. Also featured on the programme are excerpts from some of the hymns and chants sung by the community at the Divine Office taken from our 2007 recording In Praise of Mary.
