Blog of ocso general chapter 2011

Of interest to those following our website will be the excellent blog of this year’s mixed general chapter, taking place currently in Assisi in Italy. 

The blog, which includes reflections, daily homily extracts from the different regions of the order, and photos of those participating, offers a valuable insight into Cistercian life as lived today across the globe. 

The mgm blog is written by Sister Hanne Maria, Cistercian nun of the community of Tautra in Norway.  Sister Hanne Maria is a delegate at this year’s general chapter representing the monks and nuns of the houses in our Region of the Isles, including Ireland, England, Scotland, Wales and Norway.
